Total solar eclipse to be carried live to Daiei supermarkets

The Daiei, Inc. will broadcast the total solar eclipse live from Amami, Kagoshima Prefecture, to some of its supermarkets via the communication lines in high-definition on July 22.

The eclipse, which will take place for the first time in 46 years in Japan, is expected to attract customers while the digital signage system is working together.
