Japan's IP simulcast radio to be on trial stage for more three months

The Association of IP Simulcast Radio announced on August 13 that it has decided to extend by three months the period of the practical application test for the IP simulcast radio “radiko.”

The test launched on March 15.

It was initially expected to cease at the end of August and “radiko” will be put to practical use in or after September.
