The cloud calculates calories of food

NTT Communications Corp., NTT Resonant Inc., and foo.log Inc. announced on November 22 that they will begin to conduct a demonstration experiment of a service that helps the user promote good health in January 2011.

The service will employ technologies of the cloud and social networking.

It features calculation of food calories that is done by taking a photo of the food and sending it to the cloud.
