DoCoMo to launch SIM card for iPad

Are you going to get an iPad, which will be released in Japan at the end of May?

DoCoMo Inc. announced on April 28 that it will launch its SIM card for the iPad so that the iPad can connect to DoCoMo's 3G network.

The application Guru-nabi is available from the Android Market for free.

Samsung unveiled its Android-based smartphone GALAXY S in Tokyo, Japan on April 23.

Samsung has yet to announce when it will hit Japan's market and how much it will cost.

Softbank Mobile (SBM) Corp. announced on April 22 that it will provide a femtocell BS for its customer's home or store.

SBM is expected to begin to receive applications of its femtocell BS on May 10.

SBM to launch Android keitai (3)

Softbank Mobile (SBM) Corp. announced Wednesday that it has decided to launch its Android-based smartphone on April 27.

The smartphone HTC Desire will be SBM's first Android device, which has a 3.7-inch organic light emitting display (OLED) multi-touch sensitive screen.

Would you like to use the Gmail on your iPad?

Google Inc. began to provide a UI (user interface) of the Gmail that is optimized for Apple's iPad on a trial basis on April 2.

You would see a two-column page when you access the Gmail from your iPad.

Opera Mini for iPhone/iPod Touch (2)

Have you got the Opera Mini for iPhone yet?

Norwegian company Opera Software announced on April 15 that its Web browser Opera Mini workable on the iPhone/iPod Touch was downloaded more than one million times on the first day it was released on the App Store.

The Opera Mini for iPhone is allegedly up to six times faster to operate than the Safari.
