Battery does matter―iPhone

Again, you cannot change batteries of the iPhone by yourself.

It means you need to have the battery replaced by Apple.

iPhone 3G rejects touch with your nails

A Japan-based electronics UI (user interface) development company conducted a usability test of the iPhone 3G and reported the result on July 17.

Interestingly, the company points out that the iPhone 3G touch screen is incapable of sensing touch with your nails.

Nailariums may be compelled to change their technique.

NTT DoCoMo Inc. announced Thursday that it will launch the “Raku Raku Phone V” series of cellphone in August.

The cellphone handsets have the pedometer and pulse meter features implemented.

Soroban on iPod/iPhone

The two Japan-based venture companies have jointly developed a soroban application, Abacus, for iPod Touch and iPhone 3G.

The application will allow you to have almost the same experience as a real abacus.

Sales share of SBM on July 11

The sales share of Softbank Mobile (SBM) Corp.'s mobile phones on July 11 at home appliance volume retailers in Japan hit 50%, a Japan-based research company said on July 14.

The share of iPhone 3G with the storage capacity of 16GB comprised 32.9%, while 8GB did 7.7% on that day.

Do you like to smear mobile phone?

When you talk on the mobile phone while having it appressed to your ear, the display will stain with your sweat.

To avoid the stain, I always use an earbud with microphone.

I don't like to see people wipe their mobile phone with their cuff, because it is not cool.

BlackBerry to go on sale for consumers in Japan (1)

The Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry, which is the “gold standard” for wireless Internet access, especially in North America, will be launched from NTT DoCoMo Inc. for consumers on August 1 in Japan, DoCoMo officials said on July 7.

DoCoMo already provides the BlackBerry services for enterprises.

The BlackBerry for consumers will be the same type as one for enterprises, BlackBerry 8707h.
