Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) Co., Ltd., NTT DoCoMo, Inc., CHI Group Co., Ltd., and their joint venture announced on January 11 that they will establish an e-book store for DoCoMo's smartphones and book reader.
Their e-book store “2Dfacto” is on DoCoMo Market, the mobile website that delivers applications to DoCoMo's smartphones.
The 2Dfacto e-book store deals in literary works and comic books which are registered at DNP's e-book service “honto.”

NEC to launch Android laptop (2) -- For consumers first
The laptop PC that NEC Corp. exhibited at the 2011 International CES is based on Android 2.2.
It has an NVIDIA Tegra processor and a 7-inch touch-sensitive WVGA screen.
NEC is expected to launch it targeting consumers first in terms of its security features.

Panasonic to launch Android tablet (2) -- In three sizes
The VIERA Tablet is a series of its tablet PC based on Android 2.2 that will hit the shelves in Japan within 2011.
It will come in three screen size of 4-, 7-, and 10-inch.
They all will feature Wi-Fi connections, but will not connect to any 3G networks.

Toshiba to launch Google TV in FY2011
Toshiba Corp. announced at a press conference prior to the 2011 International CES that it is considering developing its products that are based on the Google TV.
A prototype of the product will not be exhibited at the 2011 International CES.
As of now, they are expected to go on sale in FY2011.
