Buffalo Kokuyo Supply Inc. put LCD protect films on sale for the iPhone 4 and the iPad on December 13.
The LCD protect films will not trap any air bubbles when it is stuck on the LCD screen of iPhone 4/iPad, the company touts.
The film for the iPhone 4 is BSIPP6FE, which has a price tag of ¥1,720 on Buffalo Kokuyo Supply's website.
The film for the iPad is BSIPD01FE, which has a price tag of ¥2,900 on Buffalo Kokuyo Supply's website.
Both of the films will not form an interference pattern when you touch them on the LCD screen of iPhone 4/iPad.

Softonic enters Japan's market
Barcelona, Spain-basied software download website operator giant Softonic.com announced on December 9 that it has established its Japan subsidiary and has begun running its Japanese website.
The website provides about 1,000 pieces of software now and is expected to increase the number to more than 300,000 by 2015.

SBM releases Dell's Android tablet (2) -- 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth
The DELL Streak 001DL is a tablet product available from Softbank Mobile (SBM) Corp., which works on Android 2.2 and runs Flash Player 10.1.
SBM initially announced that it would hit the shelves on December 10, but the shipment has been delayed due to a reverification test of its software, SBM said on December 10.
The DELL Streak 001DL has a 5-inch TFT-LCD screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) and supports the wireless connections of 3G (W-CDMA), Wi-Fi (b/g), and Bluetooth (Ver2.0 + EDR).
It measures 152.9 x 79.1 x 10.1 mm and weighs 220 grams.

Buffalo Inc. announced an external chideji (terrestrial digital TV broadcasting) tuner that complies with the miniB-CAS card method on December 8.
Its tuner DT-F200/U2W, which measures 32 x 15 x 86 mm and weighs in at 25 grams, connects to a PC using a USB cable.
It costs ¥17,640 and will go on sale in mid-December.

Logicool, a Japan subsidiary of Switzerland's Logitech International S.A., announced a micro web camera with a 0.3-megapixel sensor.
Its micro web camera Webcam C210 measures 70 x 69 x 30 mm and weighs 68 grams.
It is expected to go on sale at ¥1,980 on Logicool's website in the spring of 2011.
